Student Activities

HomeWhy Choose UCStudent Activities

A wide range of student activities are on offer at the residential college, allowing students to explore all areas of their interests and potential. From sports and arts, through to clubs and committees, life at college is all about creating fun and lasting memories.

The philosophy of our students is very much one of ‘having a go’: making UC the perfect place to get amongst it and try something new.

Welcome Sunday

Orientation Week starts with ‘Welcome Sunday’, where current UC students help you move into your new student accomodation room and home. That kicks off a week of exciting activities to help orientate everyone around campus, ensuring you swiftly make new friends and familiarise yourself with the city of Melbourne. Please note that in 2020 the move in date will be a Saturday due to a timetable change at Melbourne University.

Welcome Sunday

One of the things I didn't expect to experience was just how quickly my friendships would form. There are people who I met in my first few days of college who I am still incredibly close with.
