Welcome from the Head of College

Since 1937, generations of students have been proud to be part of our friendly, relaxed and supportive community.

Dr Jennifer McDonald with students on Welcome Sunday.

Whoever you are or wherever you are from, we very much hope that you will feel you belong here.

UC’s greatest asset is its people. Undergraduate students, graduate students and staff get to know each other well and feel part of a caring, close-knit community.

The College’s academic program provides shared and personal learning experiences which support the individual development of students and challenges them to acquire the skills and knowledge to confidently shape their future. We want our students to contribute meaningfully to the global community.

You will find a richly rewarding campus experience with social, sport, drama and music activities, as well as plenty of opportunities for leadership development. Most importantly, you will have the chance to make enduring friendships and enjoy one of the best times of your life.

The best way to find out exactly what UC is like is to come and see for yourself.  I extend a warm invitation to visit us on Open Day to see UC in action. We look forward to welcoming you to UC.

Jennifer
