University College Annual Fees (2026)

Fees are billed each semester. A deposit is required when you sign your contract and the first installment is due prior to moving into College. Alternative fee payment arrangements (i.e. monthly payments) can be made by contacting our accounts department.

Please Note:

Currently all first and second year university students must vacate their rooms during the mid-year break. Third year students are able to stay during this break. Storage sheds are available so international and interstate students can securely store belongings they don't wish to take home.

Move in date for first year students in 2026 is Saturday 21st of February. Move in date for returning students is Saturday 27th of February.

What do residential college fees cover?

College fees are all inclusive, whereas with many other private providers you must factor in weekly costs for food, WiFi and general household bills. Residential college fees include:

A private, fully-furnished room with bed, desk, chair, wardrobe and other storage. Two thirds of our rooms also feature their own ensuite bathroom.

Comprehensive academic support including tutorials, one on one consultations, academic mentoring, faculty dinners and library facilities.

Full catering - with breakfast, lunch and dinner each day (a total of 21 meals per week).

An extensive program of college and intercollegiate sporting, social, and cultural events.

Pastoral care and 24/7 wellbeing support – including a dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator offering advice and support to students.

Unlimited WiFi and access to textbooks.

Academic and career focused forums, seminars and workshops.

Well-equipped gym, UniMelb gym pass and multi-purpose court.

Communal recreation spaces to study or relax, watch TV, play pool and enjoy time with friends.

All utility bills included (i.e. electricity, water, etc).

Enrolment fee - $1,026 (new students only)
Bond - $700 (new students only - refundable if there is no damage to room)
Building Levy - $410
Student Club Fee - $300 (which goes towards funding activities organised by the student club)
Student Club O-Week Levy - $200 (new students only - a contribution to the variety of activities scheduled during orientation week)

Linen packs can be purchased at the College - $253 for singles and $296 for doubles
Car parking - $522 per semester (limited spaces available)
